Poplar is unpretentious culture, but this does not make it less attractive, decorative and perfectly suitable for our climate. True, the culture of forestry and the creation of small nurseries on unsuitable for construction, agriculture is still in its infancy. One such example is Aport Mall.

In 2019, an interesting project took place on a reforestation project on the territory of Mall Aport: a forest belt was planted and a nursery of fast-growing hybrid poplars was laid. This initiative was made possible thanks to the joint work of the Science Foundation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Research Institute for Plant Protection and Quarantine, the Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology, with the co-financing of Eurasia Agro Holding LLP.

Implementation and scientific support is carried out under the strict guidance of experts of KazRIPPQ. The seedlings used on the territory were grown in the nursery of the institute using the technology of microclonal propagation, which excludes the formation of poplar fluff.

According to the preliminary plan, taking into account the planting scheme, for landscaping the shopping center.

The project is not very extensive. 800 seedlings of three-meter poplars were planted in the nursery to create a forest belt and 5000 cuttings of hybrid poplars in the territory of a small nursery.
